'Sharjah Youth' upgrades skills of its members in animation

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for the creating Leaders and Innovators, launched the digital animation program "drawing with a drawing." It is part of its keenness to invest in the passion of its affiliates interested in the arts and train them to employ technology in artistic expression in simple and innovative ways.
During the drawing with a drawing program presented by the artist Ahmed Al Ali, through visual communication techniques, the participants learned about the history of animation and how it began, the basics of drawing characters. In addition, to understanding the principles of digital animation and employing them to move characters in several different angles using the 'Pro Create' application, and how to build an animated scene of their own.

The participants learned the techniques of animation by identifying two basic concepts: "timing," which relates to the movement at the moment it occurs, and focuses on the basic drawings, in addition to the idea of "spacing," which shows the distance between the drawings, and focuses on the graphics, and they were trained to employ these concepts. And its tools in building a simple animation scene to perfection.

The participants learned about the concept of visual effects used in cinematic tricks, with a focus on the elements of animated nature such as clouds, fire, and water, which are characterized by the uniqueness of their movement, and how to transform the difficulty of moving them into solutions using digital animation.

The participants trained through the workshop visual observation and the method of developing it by observing the things around us. In addition, they meditate on their movement, imagine future movements, and apply their acquired skills in a group of moving and influential artworks.
