Sharjah 24: The 15th Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival (Straight Egyptian), organised by the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, will kick off on Friday with the participation of 61 horses from various clubs and stables throughout the country, in close collaboration with the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority "SAIF Zone", the festival's official sponsor, and the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.
The Sharjah Arabian Horse Auction, hosted by the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club and the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, with the involvement of several studs and stables in the nation, will take place on Saturday, October 16 in the covered hall with 69 horses.

The European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO) has certified the renowned festival, and the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club's collection has been accepted by the advisory board for this season.

Saud Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), confirmed that the authority has sponsored the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival since its inception 15 years ago, and that the event will continue to enjoy a high reputation in the future due to the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, stated that the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club's endorsement of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah established it as the focal point for equestrian sports in the country.

Al Yahyai thanked the Free Zone Authority at Sharjah International Airport (SAIF Zone) for sponsoring the event on behalf of the Higher Organizing Committee.
