Sharjah 24: Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club ( SERC) , will organise, in cooperation with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation and under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation, the two-star Sharjah International Summer Show Jumping Championship on Friday and Saturday 13, 14, August 2021.

The championship is the first of its kind in the region, and the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club has completed preparations to host it in the club's covered hall. It will be sponsored by Longines, the championship's official sponsor, and the Sharjah Sports Council.

The covered hall was bequeathed by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and it has formed a lifeline for equestrians during the summer period, as equestrian activities continue to the fullest, according to Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, Vice Chairman of the Regional Group VII Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.

The number of countries participating in the tournament reached 16, the number of horses is 159, and the number of jockeys is 106 . 

United Arab Emirates - Belarus - Canada - Egypt - Finland - Germany - United Kingdom - Italy - Jordan - Kuwait - Lebanon - Norway - Palestine - Russia - Sudan – Syria are taking part in the race.
