Sharjah 24: Since the beginning of this year and until the end of September this year, Sharjah Charity International has spent 27.1 million dirhams in helping more than 1,388 patients, by providing treatment for patients with chronic and debilitating diseases.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director of SCI, said that the SCI has expanded the volume of its treatment assistance since the beginning of 2021, which reflects the confidence of benefactors in supporting the patients with low income. With their support and donations, the association succeeded in helping many patients, as helping and treating patients is one of the tools of social responsibility.

Bin Khadem pointed out that helping patients is one of the vital strategic initiatives of the association promoting and spreading the principle of social solidarity, a principle that the association has adopted, along with several parties, to help patients with chronic diseases who are unable to pay the costs of treatments.
