Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), in cooperation with the Drasa Academy, launched a diploma, with the participation of 20 students, on the sports and events management, as part of the leadership empowerment programs.
The diploma was inaugurated on September 26 at the Sharjah Officers Club, in the presence of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), Maryam Yousef Al-Hosani, Director of the Strategy and Performance Department, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharif, President of the Academy, being concluded on October 17, including 90 training hours distributed over 11 workshops and lectures.
On this occasion, Maryam Yousef Al-Hosani, Director of the Strategy and Performance Department at the Council, said that the diploma is one of the academic subjects of the Tamkeen "2" program, which includes 6 specialised professional diplomas, being held over 106 days, with 350 training hours. The Council seeks to refine the skills of the cadres, in line with the Council's efforts in this regard.
The Director of Strategy and Performance praised the commitment of the participants, stressing that the Tamkeen "2" were launched after the success of the Tamkeen "1" program, both of which are within the framework of the council’s aspirations to prepare young cadres to be capable of managing the work in various fields.
