Sharjah 24: Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped in Sharjah signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the French Club Bourgoin-Jallieu, strengthening its partnership and benefit from its experiences in parasports.
The agreement was signed by Dr Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of Al Thiqah Club, and Rudi Van Den Abbeele, President Bourgoin-Jallieu Club.
Bin Khadem was excited about signing the MoU with Bourgoin-Jallieu Club, which is considered one of the advanced European clubs in parasports in terms of experiences and achievements, noting that the agreement will forge cooperation between them to exchange sports and administrative experiences related to parasports.
Van Den Abbeele praised the great role played by Al Thiqah Club, the oldest club in the Middle East in providing the best services for athletes with disabilities, stressing that Sharjah and the UAE are now well-known in the world of parasports.
