Sharjah 24: With a clean goal, the UAE national team was defeated against its Iranian counterpart, Thursday evening, at Zabeel Stadium, in the third round of Group A matches in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
With such result, the UAE national team’s balance stopped its third place, with two points, while the Iranian team strengthened its lead in the first group with 9 points, and the South Korean team with 7 points.
The UAE national team is preparing to face the Iraqi counterpart, in the fourth round of the qualifiers.
