Sharjah24: The Central Region Police Department, in cooperation with the Sharjah Driving Institute, has launched a rehabilitation programme for violators of the Federal Traffic and Traffic Law, aimed at spreading traffic and community awareness, and giving drivers registered with them traffic points an opportunity to avoid having their driving licenses withdrawn.
Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, confirmed that the programme comes in line with the directions of the Ministry of Interior and the General Command of Sharjah Police, to make customers happy with the services provided.
He explained to "Sharjah 24" that the programme aims to spread awareness among motorists of the importance of maintaining traffic safety, and not to repeat violations that require traffic points, and it was presented in three languages, Arabic, English, and Urdu.
