Sharjah 24: Rashid Abdullah Al Mehyan, Chairman of the Parents Council in the Central Region of the Sharjah Education Council, confirmed that the “Sports Day for Teachers of the Central Region” event, organised by the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, is a tribute to the teachers, and a celebration of their efforts in spreading science and knowledge.

Al Mehyan said that the celebration was organised in cooperation with the Council, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, which falls on October 5.

In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Mehyan explained that the event is a tribute to the teachers’ efforts in spreading science and knowledge, and in recognition of their important role in preparing young people and generations that serve society, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the teachers of the central region for their efforts in serving science and advancing the students’ thinking.
