Sharjah24: Al Dhaid Sports Club joined Sharjah Police, in its annual anniversary in the presence of the club’s athlete on an occasion that represented an opportunity to introduce the stages of the development of the Sharjah Police during a lecture organised at the club’s headquarters on Wednesday evening, and the club considered it a space to enhance joint efforts.

The Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club organised a lecture entitled "Sharjah Police between Yesterday and Today", presented by Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of Sharjah Police.

Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, referred to the establishment of the Sharjah Police in 1967 under the name of the Police and Public Security Force, Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi took the position of Head of the Police and Public Security Departments, Brigadier Abdullah Juma Al Sari as its commander in chief.

He touched on the development that took place in the police sector through the directives of the wise leadership and the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which covered all sectors and fields of police work.
