Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Club organised a competition for the affiliates of Sharjah virtual summer aiming at strengthening the preparedness of the Club players for the different matches.

The competition allowed players to demonstrate their skills in dealing with the football, whereas Al Dhaid Sports Club took the initiative and organised a brand new competition on mastering and controlling the ball.

The competition was held electronically, allowing the affiliates to shoot video clips that highlight their ability to control the ball, competitors should then submit the clips to the jury for evaluation. 

The competition was organised for two categories, the first for the age group under 16 years old, and the second for the age group under 14 years old.

The competition included a quality participation that demonstrated professional skills mastering and controlling the ball.

At the end of the competition, Al Dhaid Sports Club management honoured the winners in the presence of His Excellency Hamid Abdullah Al Khatri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Sports Club, Dr. Hammoud Khalaf Salem, Executive Director of the club, and the administrator of the 14-year-old team Obaid Al Alili.

His Excellency Hamid Abdullah Al Khatri, stressed that introducing and organising the football control competition for the Sharjah Virtual Summer affiliates is important to the quality of programmes and competitions concerned with raising the fitness of youngsters in the field of football control, which is one of the modern and important goals. 

The success of the competition motivates Al Dhaid Sports Club to regularly organise the competition that reveals the creativity and promising talents among the youngsters.
