Sharjah24: Engineer Ahmed Youssef Al Naqbi, Head of Studies and Projects Department in SEWA Central Region , announced that SEWA completed a number of electricity and lighting projects in Central Region in 2021, where 14 lighting projects and 22,000 lighting poles were completed with a total cost of more than AED 22 million.
In an exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Engineer Ahmed Yousef Al Naqbi stated that SEWA is keen to provide best services to the citizens and residents of the Emirate of Sharjah. He confirmed that SEWA has not received any complaints of electricity services in the residential areas in 2021, while interruptions of electricity services were reported in industrial and commercial areas and did not exceed 2 %.
Al Naqbi unveiled that the main reason for the low incidence of interruptions was the establishment of Al Bataeh station which was built with a total cost of AED 70 million and managed by qualified technical staff.
Al Naqbi confirmed that SEWA has set a plan for 2021/2022, to implement 16 projects in the Central Region with a cost of AED 24 million.
