'Sharjah youth' learn various skills in this September

Sharjah Youth embarks on thrilling adventure camp in Malaysia

Sharjah24: The 'Sharjah Youth' of the 'Rubu' Qarn' Foundation for the Industry of Leaders and Innovators will launch a variety of free programs and workshops offered remotely during September. As part of its keenness to achieve the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his wife, in encouraging young people from 13 to 18 years, for excellence in various fields, by providing programs that suit their tendencies and talents, and contribute to developing their skills and upgrading their expertise.
Sharjah Youth provides the opportunity to join it electronically by visiting the website filling out the affiliation form and joining the programs and workshops they prefer, in line with their needs and aspirations.
 
The month of September will witness a variety of programs and workshops, including a program entitled "Photos of Sharjah," to teach participants the skills of photography with smartphones and drones, presented by the photographer Majid Al Bastaki, while the participants in the "Painting Scenes and Landscapes" program offered by the artist Abdullah Al-Buraiki will learn about The basics of drawing landscapes, interior and exterior scenes, and architectural designs.
 
The "From Scenario to Film" workshop, within the "Cinematic Arts" program, provides an opportunity for participants to learn about all disciplines of the seventh art, from idea to script, and from script to make a film that is relevant to the interests of young people and youth. Participants learn the basics and skills of tourism guidance in the 'Hayakum Tourism' program, which coincides with World Tourism Day and is implemented in cooperation with White Impact for Training and Consulting.
 
While the 'Skilled Speaker' program, presented by Mahmoud Abdel Halim, the facilitator of literature and languages in Sharjah youth, reviews the theoretical foundations and professional methods to qualify the participants to be more persuasive and have a deeper impact while speaking and familiarize them with the secrets of improvisation. In contrast, the participants learn how to write a press report on an issue according to scientific bases that reflect awareness and understanding of the content of the 'press report' program, which will be presented by Ramzi Al Mubarak, the facilitator of literature and languages in Sharjah Youth.
 
The opportunity to participate in the "Writing Competition for Youth Theater" is still open to talented and creative playwrights until October 30, 2021, and those wishing to participate should know the details and conditions by following the official pages of Sharjah Youth on social media @shjyouth.
 
The list of September programs also includes a program entitled "Book Club – Read" in cooperation with the Emirates Council on Books for Young People, where a reading box containing an interesting book and entertaining gifts will be sent to each participant, provided that the participants meet in a virtual session at the end of the month to discuss the book and express their views on it.
 
The Young Thief continues to implement the "EV3 Robots - The Future of Energy" programme, presented by Yasser Abdulmutallab and Ahmed Saad, the science and technology facilitator in Sharjah Youth, which aims to train participants in the skills of building and designing the EV3 robot, and programming it to perform specific tasks through the LEGGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Education programme.
 
The activities of the 'Sports Time' program continue, which includes daily virtual workshops to train participants in the skills of performing the exercise to promote a culture of movement to maintain the health of young people. In addition to the 'Future Engineers - Autonomous Vehicles' programme, participants learn how to install and program the engine and how to install and use the camera in the robot.
