Sharjah 24: Mleiha Cultural Sports Club (MCSC) promised to continue following its path of achievements and preparing its players, in eleven sports, during the 2021/2022 season. This came during a press conference organised by the club, on Saturday afternoon, at its headquarters.
Mleiha Club affirmed its orientation to achieve the goals of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) in developing sports and in raising the level of the club's sports system in a way that contributes to the efficiency of administrative and technical cadres.
During the press conference, the club thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler and Chairman of the Executive Council, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for their efforts in supporting the club and sports in Sharjah.
Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the MCSC, stressed the continuity of achieving success through developing sports in Sharjah and the UAE. He added that the past two seasons were marked by many accomplishments that took the club to the podiums in various team and individual games, the latest of which was the Youth League Championship and the Al Jazira International Handball Championship, in addition to launching the club's strategy and obtaining a quality certificate and others.
“We are going with you to attain sports accomplishments at all levels, starting with caring for the players and the youth of Mleiha region first, and then the youth of Sharjah and of our dear country to attract them in all sports. We can only commend what the players of the MCSC have achieved after they left their marks in various sports.” Al Khasouni said in his speech.
