Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority (SPCFZA) concluded a training programme in inspection, which was organised over three days at the Khatm Melaha Customs Centre.
The programme targeted 24 inspectors from the Border Guard Group Command at the General Command of the Armed Forces, in order to enhance the areas of strategic cooperation between the two sides.
A number of heads of departments in the centre participated in the programme.
The programme included how to use the latest inspection devices, inspections and its objectives, methods of searching individuals, luggage, means of transport and methods of concealment.
The inspectors were also briefed on the work mechanism, procedures, laws and regulations used in inspections.
The closing day witnessed the graduation from the programme and giving certificates of participation.
This programme comes within the framework of SPCFZA's keenness to develop the skills of its employees and employees of its partners in various disciplines.
It is one of a series of training programmes organised by SPCFZA, which aims to add technical skills to trainees in order to perform the roles assigned to them to the fullest and with high efficiency.
