Sharjah 24 – WAM: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 334,657 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.
The Ministry of Health stated in a statement that it intends to continue expanding the scope of testing across the country to help with early diagnosis of coronavirus cases and treatment. MoHAP announced 521 new coronavirus cases as part of its enhanced testing campaign, bringing the total number of cases in the UAE to 731,828.
The infected individuals, according to the Ministry of various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and are receiving the appropriate care.
COVID-19 complications have also claimed the lives of two people, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,071.
The Ministry offered its heartfelt condolences to the deceased's family and hoped the COVID-19 patients a swift and complete recovery. It urged all members of society to work with health officials, follow directions, and maintain physical distance in order to safeguard everyone's health and safety.
A total of 614 individuals have entirely recovered from COVID-19, increasing the total number of recoveries to 723,337, according to MoHAP.
