Al Mahmoud: 'My Project' promotes entrepreneurship

Sharjah 24: Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of Ruwad, confirmed that the launch of Ruwad's new competition, "My Project," to select the best pilot project proposals for the year 2021, is in line with Sharjah's wish leadership ongoing order to encourage entrepreneurship.
He informed “Sharjah 24”, that the "My Project" competition supports innovation and hopes to attract innovative young Emiratis from various Emirates, as well as develop their skills and abilities to turn their creative ideas into real-world initiatives.

He revealed that the first three winning ideas receive cash rewards totalling 150,000 dirhams, as well as a package of privileges and other benefits, including assistance in obtaining a location for their projects, membership in Ruwad, exemption from government fees, and the possibility of financing for their projects from Ruwad.

Al Mahmoud pointed out that the ideas presented will be subject to evaluation by Ruwad's internal screening committee, which includes a number of department officials, where the committee will sort the initial ideas submitted for the competition.

Al Mahmoud advised those interested in participating in the competition to check the competition's details, conditions, and criteria on the Ruwad's website, www.ruwad.ae, keeping in mind that the winners' names will be announced and the awards will be presented in an official ceremony.
