Sharjah24: The Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah will organise a forum for Emirati women writers from 12 to 15 September entitled “Experience and Impact” , including sessions in criticism, poetry, novel, and dialogue with creators.
About thirty Emirati female writers will participate in the forum, in addition to the guest of this edition, the Omani novelist Bushra Khalfan, a founding member of the Omani Writers and Writers Association, head of the story writers family and head of the literary and creativity committee at the Cultural Club.
The programme of the forum includes an opening speech on the first day, followed by the first session, entitled "Literary Criticism: Reading in the Reality of the Emirati Women's Presence in the Scene", in which Dr. Badia Al-Hashemi, Dr. Zainab Al-Yasi and Dr. Maryam Al-Hashemi, and moderated by the poet Salha Ghabish, then start the second session, which is A poetry evening entitled "She and the poem are an experience and readings", in which the poets: Sheikha Al-Mutairi, Al-Hanouf Muhammad, and Amal Al-Sahlawi participate, and it is moderated by Dr. Aisha Albu Sumait.
