Sharjah 24: Al Wusta TV channel from Al Dhaid, affiliated with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, airs a chunk of TV programmes for its followers, which is the largest since its establishment.
As of September 12, it will show 23 programmes, including seven new ones, new seasons of some renowned programmes, and well-known Gulf and Arabic dramas.
The channel aims to provide qualitative content that raises awareness of the Emirati culture’s values via a variety of cultural, heritage, religious, and sports programmes. This reflects the channel’s contribution to the civilisational and cultural renaissance of Sharjah.
Saeed Rashid Al Ketbi, Director of Al Wusta TV channel, stated that the channel aims to transmit the customs and heritage of the central region through its programmes; whilst at the same time, focuses on the events and activities hosted in the central region as a way of conveying its achievements. The channel wants to build a bridge linking the region’s past with its present and bright future.
