Sharjah24: Al Khalidiya Suburb Council affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) launched for the 3rd year in a row the back-to-school initiative for the 2021-2022 school year under the title " 'Hello My School' initiative for the children of needy families and families with the debt overhang problems , among the residents of Al Khalidiya Suburb.
The initiative was launched after the Suburb Council listed the families and studied their situation by the Council and the specialised committees, aiming to provide them with the necessary study supplies, which come within the framework of the Council's programs and projects coinciding with the beginning of the new school year.
The launch of the "Welcome My School" initiative came as part of one of the humanitarian initiatives for the children of needy families, targeting 44 families with a total of 114 male and female students.
His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council in Sharjah confirmed the concerted efforts of the Council to implement the “Hello My School” initiative, taking all precautionary measures, shedding light on the Council’s charitable efforts in various areas.
Al-Marri affirmed the keenness of the Suburb Council to provide decent life for this category of families in the suburb and put forward various initiatives, achieving the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to serve this category.
He stressed that Al Khalidiya Suburb Council has initiated this initiative in line of its belief in its societal role and responsibility towards the needy families in the suburb.
