Sharjah 24: The writer Awad bin Hasoum Al Darmaki stressed that the youth has the responsibility to raise the awareness of society and push it towards the horizons of creativity and innovation to preserve the country's gains and contribute to its development path.
Al Darmaki praised the efforts of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) in promoting the literary and cultural movement in the Emirate through its purposeful activities.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Darmaki thanked SBA for organising, on Wednesday, a dialogue session during which he spoke from Al Suhub Rest Area in Khorfakkan about his literary career and some of his books.
He indicated that in the session's axes focused on the youth, as it is the cornerstone of the community awareness, considering that in order for it to contribute to the development process, it must have the knowledge to reach this goal.
He concluded by stressing the importance of the historical aspect in the process of forming awareness because of the role it plays in inspiring lessons, and expanding life and practical experiences.
