Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) held a meeting with private school principals, during which they discussed methods for the safe return of students to school seats after the direct education system was approved, as well as reviewing a presentation by the School Principals Council on best practices and strategies to improve the school environment during the 2021/2022 school year, which begins next Monday.
The meeting with school administrations focused on the developments of the guideline previously distributed by the authority to schools, in addition to the capacity, and various developments that would attract the largest possible number of students in direct education.

Dr. Muhadtha Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Sharjah Special Education Authority, Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Authority, members of the Board of Directors of private schools, and principals of schools and private educational institutions attended the meeting, which also discussed the development of the guide manual and the extent to which schools are ready to accept students.

Dr. Al Hashemi began the meeting by thanking private schools, which over the last two years, adhered to strict precautions and measures, and to the major challenges faced by the education system, during which public and private schools have demonstrated their ability to respond quickly and to tackle the Pandemic by switching to the remote training system.

Dr. Al Hashemi said: “Those educational challenges have enriched and improved  schools’ experience by including students, educational leaders and parents, as well as their cooperation in the spirit of a team who contributed to the success of educational work, emphasising the continuation of the challenges. The communal spirit, which will see students return to their classrooms throughout the new school year and the associated obstacles and difficulties as the pandemic continues.”

"The authority has intensively prepared for the new school year, to ensure the reception of the new year and the resumption of face-to-face education, in light of a healthy and safe educational environment for educational staff, students, and parents, and has provided various tools and means necessary to ensure the school year's success," she added 

Ali Al Hosani explained that the authority determined the readiness of the schools and their commitment to what was stated in the guideline, as well as their adherence to the precautionary measures that precede the return of students to regularity in their classes, through visits and field tours to many schools and the implementation of many inspection tours.
The authority emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation among all parties, and that each party in the educational field fulfills its responsibilities to the fullest, and that each party in the educational field continues to upgrade the tools and means that will help to develop the educational system, as well as raising awareness among students, teachers, administrative and technical cadres in the various concerned institutions, and parents who are concerned. At various times and phases, their job is vital and essential.
