Sharjah24: Within the framework of joint cooperation and coordination between the Federal Youth Authority and the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, Al Rahmaniya District Council hosted at its headquarters in Sharjah a dialogue session on important national issues, in which the interventions of young entrepreneurs who spoke on the subject of transformation in food security systems took place.
The dialogue session, which was held on Saturday evening, was attended by the president and members of the Al Rahmaniya Council and a number of participants.
The media dialogue session was moderated by Maryam Al Naqbi, and the young speakers shed light on their efforts to put forward projects aimed at a number of food security axes in providing a local product that meets the market needs and supports the state’s directions in achieving higher rates of food security and reaching the stages of self-sufficiency.
The participants spoke on a number of aspects of the topic, reviewing their experiences in launching projects that support the state's policies in the field of food production in a number of its aspects, stressing the importance of young people harnessing their energies and employing their creativity to contribute to achieving sustainable development.
The session topics touched on the role that young people can play in achieving a change conducive to the transformation of food security, as they must be full partners with the state’s efforts in the food security strategy, which is one of the most important elements and pillars of the state’s future security.
The session called on young people to take advantage of the country's global position and its development to enter the world of innovation and educate themselves about the national strategy for food security.
