Sharjah 24: The Traffic and Awareness Programme "Defining moments", in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command and Sharjah 24 News Website, will be broadcast throughout 28 episodes, every Sunday and Tuesday on Sharjah 24 website, shedding light on the most prominent violations and wrong behaviours by some motorists.
The traffic awareness programme aims to enhance Sharjah Police efforts in achieving traffic safety, in line with the strategic objective of the Ministry of Interior, to make roads safer, broadcasting shots monitored by surveillance cameras on Sharjah roads, showing the dire consequences of some erroneous behaviour of motorists.
Sharjah Police General Command confirmed that the "Defining Moments" programme reflects Sharjah Police's keenness to inform and educate the public about the dangers of misuse of the road, by instilling a traffic culture to reduce violations and wrong behaviours, whereas the programme explains the consequences of traffic violations, such as fines and traffic points.
Sharjah Police invites road users to follow the new programme episodes, which allows identifying wrong behaviours on the roads, and the risks that may arise in the defining moments, noting the need to adhere to the rules and regulations, in order to avoid the risks of traffic accidents, and the resulting Injuries and loss of life and property.
