SCI provides help to more than 1000 cases in H1

SCI launches first phase of aid for Bangladesh flood victims

Sharjah 24: During the first half of 2021, the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) helped more than 1000 cases with 20 million dirhams, which included providing all means of medical treatment for patients with chronic diseases.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International, said that SCI expanded the scope medical assistance since the beginning of this year, which reflects the confidence of the benefactors in supporting and caring for patients with limited income. 

Commenting on this, Bin Khadim stressed that many requests for medical aid have been received from all emirates, whereas SCI continues to complete its humanitarian mission relieving the suffering of the needy patients, as one of the tools of social responsibility.

Emphasising on the SCI’s goal to help patients with chronic diseases, who need operations and do not have the cost of treatment, in cooperation with several parties, Bin Khadim pointed that the assistance and treatment of patients is one of the most important strategic initiatives of SCI, which aims to promote and spread the principle of social solidarity.

He has further explained that SCI does not only provide therapeutic assistance when covering the treatment expenses, but also established a specialised dialysis clinic, which is the first at the level of charitable institutions, to treat kidney failure cases.

Abdullah bin Khadim thanked the SCI donors for their humanitarian efforts in order to alleviate the patients’ pain, and called them to use the easy donation channels available through the website and the smart link to deliver donations.
