Sharjah 24: Maryam Al Suwaidi, Head of the Community Service Department at the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), Khorfakkan Branch, confirmed that the volunteer youth programme 'Mobaderoon 4' targets youths from 13 to 17 years old. The programme includes a number of activities that promote the values of cooperation among community members.
Al Suwaidi added, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that the 'Mobaderoon' programme continues its activities for the fourth year in a row, despite the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, and one of the first priorities stressed by SSSD is to adhere to preventive and precautionary measures to confront the pandemic.
Maryam Al Suwaidi concluded: “We have seen strong desire from parents to enroll their children in the 'Mobaderoon' programme despite the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, and this is an indication that field programmes are on the right track and advance the main goal that we seek.”
