Sharjah24: Al Dhaid Sports Club, as part of its summer activities, which start Sunday evening and continue for four consecutive weeks, will present 80 activates sports, and cultural activities that are targeting students from 8 to 16 years of age in order to provide a various set of programmes and events through visual communication.
The events will be held within the framework of the activities of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Government of Sharjah to achieve a list of goals revealed by His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, that the club invites all young citizens and residents to participate in its activities that constitute a distinguished sports forum during the summer vacation.
Bin Huwaiden affirmed that the club welcomes all citizens and residents to participate in the activities which are held in the morning, which will serve as the home of educational and sport activities for every young man and child.
Bin Huwaiden pointed out that he hopes to make this year’s summer programme fulfill its purpose towards all participants and that is to be different with Al Dhaid Club.
The Cultural and Community Activities Committee, headed by Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, held several meetings with activities coordinators and experts to create a new innovative programme that will meet the youngsters’ needs and will be beneficial; and also pointed out that there are sports programmes targeting the participants and providing them with benefits within the framework of the club’s plans that emerges from the plans of the Sharjah Sports Council.
He explained that sports contest will be held every week in which the club will participate alongside the clubs of Sharjah. The contests will be in chess and football as well as in karate and team-games.
His Excellency Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club and Chairman of the Cultural and Community Committee, explained that Al Dhaid Club’s summer center is going to hold the programme remotely for community members from 8 to 16 years old, and will organise many sports and eight cultural competitions on various topics.
