Sharjah24: The Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution (DPCI) in the General Command of Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions at the Ministry of Interior, "Faraj Fund" and the Sharjah Charity International, distributed the "Eid clothing" and "Children's eidiyas", to 47 needy families of the institution's inmates.
The gesture aims to ensure providing assistance for the needy families of the institution’s inmates, contributing to bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of the children.
Brigadier Ahmed Abdulaziz Shuhail, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Department at Sharjah Police, has highlighted the significance of the launching such initiative, which lasted for about 6 consecutive years, as part of the Sharjah Police General Command's keenness to enhance community participation and communication with the families of the institution's inmates.
He has stressed the importance of spreading the culture of care to the inmates' families, shedding light on the importance of concerting the efforts of all the society’s individuals in its various institutions. He also underscored the significance of Department's various initiatives and programs.
