Sharjah 24: The UAE National Football Team won Bronze in West Asian e-Football Championship, during the two-day competitions where 4 Arab national teams participated.
The second edition of the West Asian E-Football Championship, held over two days, concluded with the participation of four national teams, namely the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar teams.
The UAE National Team ranked third in the Championship defeating Qatar in two out of 3 games. The UAE National Team won the first “PlayStation” game with a score of 2-1, and lost the second on “X-Box” with a score of 3-0. The UAE team won the third PlayStation" game in the penalty shoot-out with a score of 4-3
The Kuwaiti team managed to get the title, after winning two out of 3 games, in the final against the Saudi team, holder of the title of the last edition of the championship.
The UAE National Team was represented in the Championship by Rashid Obaid Al Zaabi, Ahmed Saeed Al Suwaidi, Omar Mohammed Al Hammadi and Ibrahim Ahmed Al Awadi.
