SFD promotes excellence, innovation among its employees

Sharjah24: In line with the vision and mission of the department of its strategic plan 2019-2021, the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) launched, on the first of this June, the fourth edition of the internal awards project, over 4 consecutive days, which aims to honour distinguished employees and outstanding projects.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Rashid Al Qasimi, Director of the Budget Department, Aisha Abdullah Al Hosani, Secretary General of the Internal Awards Project, the team of the General Secretariat for Internal Awards, a large number of directors of departments and heads of departments and a group of employees of the Department.
In her speech during the ceremony, Aisha Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the Awards, stressed that excellence is a professional responsibility and a national duty, stressing that it is the basis of the success that the Department seeks to achieve. She indicated that the Department believes in its human cadres and provides a stimulating work environment for them, as well as tools, means and techniques that enhance the efficiency of the government financial sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, based on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and in line with the Department's mission that aims to promote the financial stability and sustainability, which has contributed to various achievements. She also reviewed the integrated methodology of the internal awards, emphasizing the significance of developing the criteria of the awards in their various categories. The members of the General Secretariat team of the internal awards provided an explanation of the awards, their categories and levels. The team also spoke during the ceremony about the terms, conditions and standards for each category, and the procedures for working on the system from the administrative and technical aspects. The SFD continues to work towards achieving a number of its strategic goals.
