Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police Headquarters confirmed its readiness to receive Eid Al Adha holiday, with an integrated security plan that combines security, traffic and inspection goals while implementing precautionary measures in Sharjah, to enhance security and safety for all citizens and residents.
Plans were decided during a meeting held at the headquarters, chaired by Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in the presence of Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations, and a number of departments’ directors.
The meeting reviewed the comprehensive security and traffic plans aiming to maintain security and enhance public safety for citizens, residents and visitors of Sharjah, and to provide all kinds of support and immediate response to the UAE community.
The meeting revealed that 300 security and civil patrols were assigned to all areas and main streets within the city of Sharjah, the Central and Eastern regions, to maintain traffic flow around mosques.
The meeting confirmed that all services will be provided in accordance with the highest standards, whereas awareness will be raised among society members on the importance of adhering to procedures and measures to prevent the spread of Covid 19, while following the instructions of the competent authorities in the UAE.
Sharjah Police Headquarters calls the public to "celebrate safely" in accordance with the preventive and precautionary measures that ensure the preservation of public health and safety, and to cooperate with the police agencies in enhancing public security.
