Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) received a delegation from the World Health Organisation, to inspect the complex's facilities and ensure commitment to health development, in order to complete the assessment file of the city of Sharjah in the "Healthy Cities Programme".
Engineer Ali Saeed Bu Zinjal, Director of the Digital Transformation Department at the SRTI Park, confirmed that the aim of the World Health Organisation delegation's visit to the complex, headed by Dr. Samar Al Fiqi, is to ensure the organisation of the community and its commitment to health, skills development, vocational training and capacity building for assessment in Healthy Cities Programme.
In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24", Engineer Bu Zinjal said that the visit began with an introductory presentation of the latest developments in the field and ways to support emerging companies in the areas of technology and health. After that, the delegation inspected the facilities and laboratories in the field of agriculture and three-dimensional construction. The delegation was introduced to the Sharjah Innovation Lab, a 3D printing specialised centre, electronics and programming, as well as introducing the delegation to summer activities for school students.
