Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality reviewed the semi-annual report for the year 2021, which includes all departments’ achievements, as part of its continuous endeavour to provide the best services that contribute to the comfort and happiness of the cities’ residents, noting that the Municipality didn’t cease to provide services during the Corona pandemic.
The report indicated that the Municipality's Operations Department, represented by the Food Control Department, carried out 1,746 inspection visits to all grocery stores, cafeterias, popular restaurants and markets in the city, as part of the Municipality's endeavour to preserve the health and safety of the residents of Sharjah, where 47 violations were issued for restaurants, shops and restaurants that do not apply the laws and health procedures in force. The Municipality issued 206 warnings to non-compliant facilities, in addition to issuing 7 new licenses during the first half of this year.
On the level of events and activities, the Municipality organised many events and initiatives during the first half of the year, the most important of which was participating in the planting week, the blood donation campaign, the graffiti campaign, the World Archives Day, providing water for birds initiative, and many other activities and initiatives implemented by the Municipality.
His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, said that all departments have not stopped working since the beginning of the pandemic, and are constantly striving to provide the best services to citizens and residents of Dibba Al Hisn.
His Excellency added that the Municipality is keen to carry out inspection visits to all shops and establishments in Dibba Al Hisn, in order to apply the requirements and instructions set by the Municipality in accordance with the latest and best international standards.
Al Yahyai concluded that thanks to these efforts, Dibba Al Hisn will become a destination for many residents, given the necessities of life it provides in light of the security, peace and prosperity under the directives of the wise leadership.
