The announcement was made during a press conference the SCCI held to unveil the details of the fifth edition of the festival.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Mohammed Musabah Al Tunaiji, director of SCCI in Al Dhaid and the general coordinator of the festival, said that all precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 have been taken to preserve the health and keep the safety of all taking part in the event.
Al Tunaiji highlighted the different important aspects of the date palm and the new competitions added to this year’s edition of the festival: The Mango, the Fig and the Lemon.
