Sharjah 24: As part of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI)’s strategic plan and in preparation for the blessed Eid Al Adha, the Khorfakkan branch is launching a number of charitable initiatives.
On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Naqbi, Head of the Aids Committee at SCI's Khorfakkan Branch, congratulated the wise leadership, the people of the Emirates, and its residents.
In a statement to "Sharjah 24," he noted that one of SCI’s projects for this year is the 'Eid Sacrifice' Campaign, which would provide 300 udhiyahs (sacrifices) to Khorfakkan and adjacent areas' beneficiaries.
Al Naqbi added that the campaign benefits about 600 families on the SCI's lists, as well as 80 families who benefit from the Eid clothing initiative, which has a value of about 80 thousand dirhams.
"In line with precautionary and preventive measures against the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided that the allocations for Eid clothing for this year will be distributed in cash in collaboration with one of the exchanging companies, for the safety of employees and beneficiaries," Al Naqbi continued.
