Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), represented by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, has launched the new vehicles licensing and registration service (for individuals and companies) through Sharjah car agencies. The new service reflects the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at improving customer satisfaction.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Al Kay, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department in the Sharjah Police General Command said that SPGC is keen to provide customers with excellent services, within the framework of its strategy aimed at shifting towards electronic services to achieve customer satisfaction and happiness by simplifying vehicle licensing within car agencies, providing easy services, and saving reviewers time and effort
Lt. Col. Al Kay explained that the Department granted car agencies in Sharjah the authority to register vehicles for individuals and institutions without referring to service centres, by logging in the federal licensing programme on the MOE website.
Lt. Col. Al Kay added that the Single Sign On (SSO) for e-services includes vehicle insurance, mortgage, and technical examination; ensuring fast transaction, avoiding paper documents, and saving effort and time for vehicle licensing.
Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department held a number of introductory workshops for car agencies owners, at the Department headquarters, where they were introduced to the new services and on how to use the programme. During the workshops, representatives of car agencies expressed their appreciation for the services provided by the Sharjah Police General Command and the innovative initiatives it offers to facilitate services for customers in accordance with the best practices.
