Sharjah 24: Muna Al Mulla, Senior Instructor at the Sharjah Science Museum reported that the museum was opened by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on April 17, 1996, indicating that it is a scientific museum providing various activities and very useful information for all age groups, as the museum aims to unleash the spirit of innovation and creativity of its visitors.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Muna Al Mulla added that the museum includes scientific exhibits, revealing that the exhibit hall includes more than 50 exhibits, as well as space hall. In addition to 12 scientific presentations in the exhibit hall. There are also scientific laboratories offering workshops for visitors of all ages.
Al Mulla pointed out that the exhibits offer the discovery of the laws of nature and educate on various sciences, such as physiology, laws of aerodynamics and thermal physics. The exhibits also include participation in electric charge displays experiments, along with explorations of the secrets of space.
Al Mulla confirmed the cooperation with the Ministry of Education by participating in scientific workshops that support the curriculum of school students in an interesting and engaging way, maintaining that the museum receives its visitors daily from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, except on Friday, when it receives its visitors from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and entry to all segments of society, without exception, for a small fee.
