Sharjah24: As part of its societal responsibilities aimed at contributing to supporting members of the society, Sharjah Media City (Shams) organised a blood donation campaign at its headquarters on Thursday, running in parallel with the International Blood Donation Day.
The campaign was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khaled Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams), His Excellency Shehab Al Hammadi, Director of Sharjah Media City, along with a number of Shams’ members and staff who came to donate blood for patients in need. The campaign was organised in cooperation with the Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Center.
Commenting on that, Omar Al Midfa, sparked light on the importance of donating blood, as it is one of the greatest donations a person can make to save the lives of many needy patients. "We are committed to supporting our community through innovative initiatives to activate our social responsibilities which aim to provide all support to those who need medical assistance". Al Midfa said.
