Sharjah24: Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department held its periodic meeting at its headquarters in Khorfakkan after taking all precautions and achieving social distancing for the sake of preserving public health. They discussed a number of points on the meeting's agenda and dealt with early preparation for the council’s activities for Ramadan.
The meeting, which was held on Saturday evening, was chaired by Muhammad Ahmad Al Ghawi Al Naqbi, Chairman of Al Subaihiya Council.

Muhammad Ahmad Al Ghawi Al Naqbi, affirmed that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah confirm the importance that the citizen enjoys in the Emirate of Sharjah as the main topics and priority of the comprehensive development process in Sharjah in various fields. The importance of the role of the Suburb Council in joining its efforts with the concerned authorities in order to serve the community and work to care for the people on an ongoing basis.

He praised the role of the Department in its follow-up to the Suburb Council and enabling it to exercise its roles and strengthen its efforts, especially during the period of the Coronavirus pandemic, to continue providing services through the relevant institutions to the people of the suburb.

After that, Al Subaihiya Suburb Council's preparations for Ramadan were discussed through the activities that will be organised by taking all precautionary measures and working to continue studies on the conditions of needy families and securing their needs in coordination with the competent authorities within the framework of strict secrecy.
