Sharjah24: His Excellency Khalid Buhindi Al Mansoori won the position of Chairman of the Hayawa Suburb Council by acclamation, on opinions of the members of the Council at its first meeting, Sunday, while Ali Ibrahim Al Hosani was also chosen as his deputy by acclamation.
In a statement to "Sharjah 24", Buhindi thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the trust that His Highness placed on the members of the Council of the District and Villages Affairs Department, considering His Highness' trust as a mandate and an honour at the same time.
He explained that the council will work to meet all the needs of all segments of society within its competence and powers and in cooperation with partners from government departments and private sector institutions, praising the support given by the department to suburban councils in the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah.
