Sharjah24: Sharjah Police confirmed that the "100 Programmers" initiative will witness new features that will be announced on Monday, during the graduation of 25 programmers, strengthening further cooperation with various parties in order to achieve institutional partnership between the Sharjah Police General Command and all other parties.
Commenting on this, Captain Hamid Khalfan Al Kindi, Head of the Institutional Excellence Department and Chairman of the Sharjah Police Youth Council explained that the "100 Programmers" initiative is one of the initiatives launched by the Sharjah Police Youth Council.

The initiative aims to make the Sharjah Police General Command the leading security authority in the field of smart technologies and services, contributing in qualifying human cadres in the field of modern technologies in accordance with international best practices in cooperation with security authorities. 

Commenting on this, Captain Al Kindi explained that the initiative was approved in 2019 and was officially launched in 2020 in cooperation with the Higher Colleges of Technology in Sharjah, adding that it will continue to be implemented over a period of 4 years, at a rate of 25 programmers annually.

Al Kindi expressed his thanks to His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, for his unlimited support to the Sharjah Police Youth Council, especially for the "100 Programmers" initiative, and for His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif Al Tarifi Al Shamsi, Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology Complex, for his efforts in providing all means for the success of this initiative.
