The programme, broadcast every Monday at 10 pm, and over a period of 40 minutes, explores the features of the culture of each community in the UAE, represented by special occasions and their various rituals, as well as food, clothing, singing, music, dancing, folk celebrations and others.
In its quest for people’s stories, and through a variety of segments, the programme presents the heritage of the tackled countries, customs of receiving guests, the traditions of organising weddings and the various occasions, as well as cuisines and food preparations.
In the first episodes, the programme tackled the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the State of Palestine, where it recounted the history of these countries since ancient times, the diversity of civilisations, the cultural movement, in addition to all the customs and traditions they inherited. The programme discussed, in particular, occasions such as weddings and religious holidays, as well as highlighting aspects of the heritage and folklore and the origins of hospitality.
