Sharjah24: To combat the spread of the new Corona virus, the Eastern Region Police Department, represented by the Kalba Comprehensive Police Station, initiated the "Aman" awareness-raising initiative in collaboration with the Social Services Department and a number of agencies.
Lieutenant Mohammed Ahmed Al-Naqbi, the field officer of the "Aman" initiative, confirmed in a statement to "Sharjah 24" that the month-long initiative drew 50 male and female volunteers, and that the field team of volunteers began public awareness tours in various public facilities and vital areas throughout the city, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and following preventive instructions and precautionary measures.
The initiative contributes to creating a spirit of collaboration and constructive engagement in society by working alongside government departments to enhance public awareness of the significance of adhering to preventive measures by promoting the culture of volunteer work.
