Bin Khadem stated that the SCI is working to ensure the sustainability of its charitable and humanitarian work, which aims to empower individuals and provide them with support and assistance. For the month of May, the association provided regular monthly assistance to 1256 needy families at a cost of two million dirhams.
He stated that the aid programmes assisted eligible families by covering medical expenses (150 cases), with treatment expenses totaling 4 million dirhams and supported students' education (more than 100 students).
The SCI also helped with the upkeep and restoration of homes for the needy, as well as furnishing their homes and paying rent arrears. It also assisted those who had judgments issued against them in financial cases (102 cases).
Sharjah Charity International also provides services that meet the needs of many people with a disability, the elderly, and social service workers.
The number of eligible categories reached 650 at a cost of 1.2 million dirhams.
Bin Khadem confirmed that the SCI's assistance extended to all Sharjah regions and cities.
