Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police Officers Club (SPOC) received a delegation from the Special Security Forces (SSF) headed by Major Fahd Saeed Al Eter, Director of the Sports Branch at SSF.
The visit came to review the best practices that the Sharjah Police work in the field of sports activities, within the framework of exchanging experiences and evaluate the procedures followed in the sports and social fields.
Major Ahmed Mubarak Al Junaibi, Head of the Sports and Social Activities Department at SPOC, welcomed the members of the visiting delegation, stressing the keenness of Sharjah Police to exchange and transfer knowledge with all entities in order to advance institutional work in various fields at the Emirate level.
The visiting delegation made an inspection visit to the sports facilities of SPOC, during which they were briefed about the stadiums, gyms, and a training hall for karate and jiu-jitsu, and praised the sports equipment available in it, which allows its members to practice various sports activities.
Major Ahmed Mubarak stressed that SP’s interest in developing sports activities stems from being an essential pillar of police rehabilitation and training. In addition to the fact that police work requires a mind and a healthy body to perform security work efficiently, hence its interest, in strengthening this aspect, by providing facilities, stadiums and gyms for its male and female members, to practice sports activities at all times.
For his part, Major Fahd Al Eter expressed his thanks and appreciation for the good reception, praising the role played by the Sharjah Police in spreading the culture specialised in sports affairs, and raising the rate of physical fitness among the salary of Sharjah Police, so that they are qualified to give in the security work.
