Sharjah24: Sharjah eGov Department signed a memorandum of understanding with Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development with the aim of extending bridges of technical cooperation and supporting the coordination process in the areas of infrastructure development and provision of secure networks and protection systems necessary to enhance the statistical work system, and work on exchanging experiences and training in order to reach a long-term strategic partnership.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of achieving the vision of the wise leadership in upgrading comprehensive development standards and economic development. The virtual memorandum was signed via the WebEx platform by Sharjah eGov Department, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director General of the Department, and by the SDSCD, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head of SDSCD.
Under this MoU, the two parties, will conduct studies related to electronic activities and technological techniques and develop the necessary tools and methods to make the best use of the emirate's resources. It will also work to cooperate in holding seminars and conferences in the technical field and providing services included in the Service Directory of Sharjah eGov Department.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director-General of Sharjah e-Government, pointed out the importance of signing the memorandum of understanding with the Department of Statistics and Community Development and its positive reflection in enhancing ways of cooperation between the two parties to improve joint relations in the technical field to develop performance and raise efficiency.
