Sharjah24: Saeed Obaid Al Tunaiji, head of the Social and Cultural Committee of the Al Bustan Suburb Council explained that the Council organised a symposium via the virtual platform "Zoom", on the importance of the palm tree, shedding light on ways to preserve them for the future generations, in the presence of several dignitaries.
As part of its keenness to preserve the popular heritage, Al Tunaiji added that the Council seeks to adopt more seminars, lectures and symposia; aiming to increase public awareness of the importance of the heritage, customs, traditions and history of the region.
