Ruwad concludes SMEs Management Programme

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Foundation (Ruwad), affiliated to affiliated to Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) concluded, a virtual training course entitled "Managing Entrepreneurial Projects for SMEs Entrepreneurs", where 27 entrepreneurs participated.
The 3-day course focused on developing and evaluating projects entrepreneurial ideas and marketing skills, and was moderated by Dr. Abdullah Al Attar, a financial and entrepreneurial consultant.

His Excellency Hamad Ali Al Mahmoud, Director of the Ruwad Foundation, said that the programme is one of managing and developing SMEs programmes during 2021.   His Excellency added that the series of courses aims to qualify and train entrepreneurs, owners of new or existing projects, to be able to turn such projects into success.  A successful project will lead to a successful entrepreneur able to meet the requirements of the labour market, and to keep pace with the changes in the business and investment sector, the urgent conditions and challenges facing economies and markets, in order to improve the business environment for emerging, small and medium entreprises in Sharjah .

Al Mahmoud explained that, in the end of 2020, a total of 5327 entrepreneurs benefited from the training courses and professional diplomas offered by the Foundation, including 850 male and female trainees in 2020.

Al Mahmoud pointed out that this course aimed at developing the participants’ abilities to choose the right project; develop and evaluate pioneering ideas; prepare an economic feasibility study that prepares entrepreneurs to establish their own projects; use research and evaluation methods such as brainstorming and market need analysis to identify competition in the most popular sectors; and understand general trends and needs of the market.
