A group of experts in the field of marketing and government communication presented the 14-day training programme, organised from January 3 to January 18, 2021.
Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of the Ruwad, revealed that the total number of participants in the training programmes since the establishment of the Ruwad until the end of 2020 has reached 4,621 trainees, while the number of trainees in professional diplomas has reached 504 from the various emirates of the country. He pointed out that Ruwad continues to support and empower entrepreneurs to develop their projects and businesses and enhance their contribution in various economic sectors in light of the current circumstances that impose new challenges.
Al Mahmoud added that the goal of the programme stems from Ruwad’s keenness to make the Emirati entrepreneur knowledgeable and able to know the tools and skills of crisis management, and to develop appropriate marketing strategies, especially in light of the current circumstances, and to enable him to present his product to the public and media, and to identify market recession and how to deal with it.
At the conclusion of the programme, a one-on-one marketing consultation session was assigned to the participants who were provided with marketing advice appropriate to the needs of their projects. The trainees were also given access to free shop on the "Zeflo" e-commerce platform to display their products.
The participating entrepreneurs expressed their high benefit from the programme, and their gratitude to the "Ruwad" for their support to deal with the challenges they face.
