Sharjah Youth are learning optimal use skills for social media

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Youth Foundation, affiliated to the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for the Industry of Leaders and Innovators, and the Sharjah Media Center of the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority organized a virtual remote program for members of Sharjah Youth entitled' Skills of Using Social Media ' to train them in the optimal use of various social media and qualifying them to create meaningful content through their accounts.
The two-day ' Skills of Using Social Media ' program, organized in cooperation with the HDTC Training and Consulting Center, presented by Firas Sawas, a training and career, and institutional development consultant, reviewing important axes interactively.
The participants learned about the concept of social media and modern means of communication, and a historical overview of social media sites, their characteristics and importance in communicating with others quickly and easily, and they learned how to use social networking sites.
The trainer reviewed the types of websites on the Internet and introduced social networks and their importance and the most famous sites, beginning with Facebook and Twitter, passing through YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp, and ending with LinkedIn. The trainer touched on the pros, cons, and harms of social networking sites and provided a set of tips that provide the opportunity for participants in the safe use of social media sites of all kinds and to build a broad audience. The affiliates followed examples of the most important applications that increase interaction and attract followers.
